Too Personal for the Resume
I am currently a Software Development Engineer at Apple Inc., where I help develop insanely great products. I am a graduate of the University of Southern California, where I majored in Computer Engineering and Computer Science (CECS). This major has become a popular addition to many unviersity campuses in the last couple of years since it provides a solid mixture of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering, and you may recognize it under a number of different names such as CE or EECS.
I'm just now starting life in the bay, having spent the last 3 years of college in Los Angeles. Before then I had the opportunity to reside in number of different places, from Portland, OR to Buenos Aires, Argentina. I ended up in Orange County (yes, that Orange County) about 10 years ago though, and have been enjoying California life ever since.
How Did You?...
Just about everything you see here was marked up by hand using a text editor (SubEthaEdit) and Photoshop. I've never been much of a fan of WYSIWYGs and prefer to hack out my own HTML, CSS, PHP, and Javascript. The only notable exception is the blogging portion of my website, which is maintained through the usage of WordPress 2.0 and some custom templates.
I'm a big fan of standards, so this site should validate as XHTML 1.0 Strict. Unfortunately, ironically, or sadly (take your pick), this means that this site is not very compatible with Internet Explorer, but don't worry, since Safari and Firefox are both FREE!
